Economical hotel close to metro service. Its appeal to me is that it is next door to my daughter's university and so enabled us to see more of each other and she was able to stay with me and have a bit of luxury. It is a conference hotel so rooms had a computer and internet provided. The shower is enormous and very efficient.Fresh towels every day .
Perhaps they could have changed the sheets more frequently .

Staff were helpful and ready to act promptly. Rooms very confy, spacious, endowed with fridge. Laundry service efficient.
I had initially asked for an apartment with self-catering facilities, but was given a single room. Changed after one day, only to find out that the apartment had in fact no kitchen. They would have shifted to another apartment, but I thought it wasn't necessary as eating in Beijing is in any case so cheap.

The location was good; just right next to Beijing Language and Culture University, not too far from Tsinghua University and Wudaokou Subway station.
Staffs at the reception desk sometime could get thing mix up quite easily. The breakfast was too expensive.

The hotel was close to the Language and Cultual University which was our priority. The street food around the area was excellent and the area was easy to navigate. It was a 10 minute walk to the subway station and this gave us easy access to the rest of the city. The rooms were basic but well maintained and cleaned regularly. The carpets were a bit old and couldn't really be improved without replacing. Engish speaking staff were few, but people did their best to help us when it was needed. One of the rooms smelled a little due to old piping in the bathroom. However, I would return to this hotel in the future.
Just the smelly bathroom piping. There was some dispute about us having paid from Australia before we left and also about the fact that we had booked double rooms but only singles were available. It seemed difficult for staff at the hotel to access this information when we arrived.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable, exceeding my expectations. The cleanliness was top-notch, with the hotel maintaining a high standard. The facilities, especially the bowling alley in the recreational center, added another level of enjoyment to my stay. The hotel's location was perfect, with easy access to two of the top universities in China. Additionally, there were plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance, making it convenient for dining and entertainment options. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating, providing excellent service throughout my stay.
Everything was great.

It really was a wonderful place for my needs, which included being near several universities, and having a decent workspace. The apartment was perfect, with lots of desk and shelf space, and plenty of natural and artificial light. I spent a highly productive and comfortable time there. I did not take advantage of the other, considerable facilities. Everything I needed was available nearby (once I found it!). Though the hotel is not in a tourist area, the Wudoakou subway is only few minutes away. The English of the reception staff was excellent -- a welcome contrast with so many places I stayed in China. I visited the hotel before making a reservation, and was a little put off by the posted prices. I then went on-line to get a significant savings through Booked.net, and checked in the next day.
The apartment came with a kitchen: fridge, sink, lots counter and cupboard space, and a brand new range hood. Unfortunately there was nothing in the cupboards and no source of heat except an electric kettle -- typical Chinese obsession with appearance over function. It didn't bother me, but there is not enough furniture for two people in the apartment; a TV and stand, one chair, one bed, and one nightstand.
